Who we are

United Winners Savings and Credit Co-operatives Society Ltd (Formerly known as Umoja Wendani Sacco) was registered in 2001 under the Ministry of Industry Trade and Co-operatives. We, as ‘United Winners Sacco, are proud to reaffirm our commitment to all stakeholders. Our name reflects our dedication to unity and success, as we strategically position ourselves as a reliable financial partner. Our goal is to economically empower our members through affordable financial services that will enable them to address their financial needs as well as exploit growth opportunities around them. As per our slogan “growing together,” We are eager and committed to taking the growth journey with all our members. We welcome you onboard as we continue with our transformative agenda of changing the lives of our members.


The SACCO derives its mandate from the Co-operative Societies Act and the Sacco By-laws. The Affairs of the SACCO are directed by the Central Management Committee (CMC) as provided for in the By-laws and overseen by the Supervisory Committee with both reporting to the Members Annual General Meeting (AGM).


The Central Management Committee (The CMC) is the governing authority of the Sacco, and directs all its affairs as per the direction of the AGM. The CMC has three main sub-committees;

  • The Executive Sub-Committee
  • The Education Sub-Committee
  • The Credit Sub-Committee
  • The Executive Sub-Committee
